The member can insure a loan in the event of disability and rest assured that payments would continue even if disability precludes the member from working. In addition, the member can obtain very low cost life insurance for loans that will pay off loan balances in the event of death.

GAP and Mechanical Breakdown (extended warranty) Insurance Generally offered at the auto dealership when you purchase a vehicle our version is more affordable. GAP will cover your vehicle if it is totaled in an accident or stolen. It pays the difference between the book value and the balance of the loan. The insurance also offers a $1,000.00 toward a replacement vehicle if you refinance with the credit union. Mechanical Breakdown Insurance covers repairs when your vehicle breaks down.
